Confused on watering after transplanting

I received my order and transplanted two orchids already. I'm a novice when it comes to orchids. I have 2 questions.
1. Instructions say not to water after transplanting because I'm guessing due to soaking the medium overnight. When should I start watering?
2. How long should I water using the KLN root solution before switching to fertilizer?

Confused on watering .......

Those are good questions.
1. Watering after transplanting depends on what type of orchids you're working with. As you will notice in the Transplant Instructions (and on the website) different orchids require different waterings after transplanting.

In any case, the basic rules on watering are are;
- Start watering immediately after transplanting . Water to 1/4 - 1/2 on gauge. This is somewhere in the "Opt" zone on the gauge.
- Then wait until system is completely dry before rewatering. Using the water gauge as a handle, lift inner pot to check for dryness at the bottom. Plants should dry out in 2 weeks - or less.
